APTA Pediatrics established the Pediatric Fund through the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research in 1995. Since then, the Pediatric Fund has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars of support for pediatric physical therapy research. The McEwen Family Fund for School-Based Physical Therapy Research has also been established to provide funding for grants and projects to investigate areas related to school-based physical therapy. Calls for Foundation grants are included in APTA Pediatrics newsletter and may be found on the Foundation website.
