Section on Pediatrics, APTA Partners Program
Are You Ready to Be Connected?
The Section on Pediatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is seeking to partner with pediatric PTs and PTAs outside the United States and other professionals within the US who serve children. We hope that by sharing information and working together, we can improve services for children and families. With almost 5,000 current members, the Section on Pediatrics is one of the largest specialty sections of APTA. Our mission is to promote the highest quality of life for all children, people with developmental disabilities, and their families. The Section represents pediatric physical therapy and promotes its members as practitioners of choice for children (birth to 21 years) with or at risk for movement dysfunction. The Section also serves as a collective voice to further the role of pediatric physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. This makes the Partners Program of the Section on Pediatrics the ideal choice for professionals working or studying in the field of pediatrics.

Who Is Eligible for Pediatric Partner Status?
If you are not eligible for membership in APTA, you can join the Section on Pediatrics as a Partner. This includes PTs and PTAs who live in a country other than the United States and non-PTs/PTAs who work in an affiliated field and would benefit from Section membership.
How Can You Join as a Partner?
The Partner fee is $75 annually, covering a single year of benefits (January 1-December 31), must be submitted by December 15 of each year. This fee is required annually for each successive renewal of your Partner Status. To join the Section as a Partner, complete the attached application and submit it with your form of payment.
