Donation to the SEction on Pediatrics

The mission of the Section on Pediatrics is to promote the highest quality of life for all children, people with developmental disabilities, and their families. If you would like to remember a friend or family member by making a donation or ask your facility or durable medical equipment vendor to support one of these funds, the Section on Pediatrics has two contribution opportunities: the Memorial Fund Scholarship and the Foundation for Physical Therapy’s Pediatric Fund . The Section on Pediatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association thanks you, as do the children who benefit from our services.

Memorial Fund Scholarship

The Memorial Fund Scholarship was created in 2003 by the Section to assist pediatric physical therapists that wish to become Pediatric Clinical Specialists. It is intended to serve as a way to honor those physical therapists who are no longer with us and who have made a lasting impression on the physical therapy profession. A record of scholarship award recipients and of donations received will be kept in the Section office.

Foundation for Physical Therapy’s Pediatric Fund

The Pediatric Fund was created in 1995 through the Foundation for Physical Therapy to strengthen opportunities for physical therapists to engage in significant research pertaining to children.
