Anniversary Award

The Anniversary Award was created to recognize members of the Section on Pediatrics who have made outstanding, visionary contributions in an area of pediatric physical therapy, including practice, research, mentoring, or leadership. Nominees should be a current APTA member age 55 or over, and should not have received the Bud DeHaven Award, Jeanie Fischer Award, or Jeanne Hughes Award. Nominees may have received a research award. The nominee does not have to be a former Section on Pediatrics officer, a clinical specialist, or living to receive the award.

The Anniversary Award was first presented in 2003, in conjunction with the Section's 30th Anniversary, and was presented to 30 individuals; henceforth, one award will be presented per year at the Combined Sections Meeting. A plaque with the names of all winners will be housed in the Executive Office of the Section, and the awardees will receive a monetary award.
