Student Clinical Research Award

The Student Clinical Research Award is given in recognition to an active or student member of the Section on Pediatrics who has completed an outstanding research project as partial fulfillment for a professional physical therapy degree (eg, MPT, DPT), postprofessional tDPT or master's degree, or other postprofessional degree that is not a research doctorate.  Members completing a research doctorate are eligible for the dissertation award.

The Student Clinical Research Award is for individual efforts and scholarship. To be eligible, the contribution level of the student must be such that the student would be first author on the submitted manuscript. The work is not eligible if it was the result of a group project or part of an advisor's work in which the contribution of the student did not justify first authorship.
